I'm still recuperating from the awesome two weeks of pure sports!!!!! LOL. 2008 has to rank as one of the best Olympics EVER. And not just because of Michael Phelps, Usain Bolt and Nastia Liukin, the Redeem Team, the men's volleyball team, etc. etc.
But did you witness the opening and closing ceremonies? Sheer genius. That won't be topped any time soon. I think it's good London isn't striving to top it, just to present themselves in their own inimitable way. Great strategy to be sure.
Now that I've literally OD'd on medal ceremonies and made myself hoarse from shouting at victories, I'll go back to my regular life as a regular person...until the 2012.
